Week 1 {Term 2} - Stop Motion Animation Planning

SYNOPSIS:I am producing a stop motion animation from scratch. I am going to pick a topic and a an item from scratch to use for it. I am going to have to use 25 shots per second and my target is to let the duration be 15 -32 secs.

This stop motion animation commercial was produced by McDonalds as a way of promoting their healthier option to their new product the video duration is 2mins and 11seconds long. it consists of the cartoon farmers pumping what seems to be oil and cutting fruits and vegetables. The commercial is good in the sense that it is well constructed and makes sense and there is no unnecessary information during the production. The language is suitable for all ages as it does not contain profanity.

This stop motion animation was created for entertainment purpose and to use their imagination to create a sense of diversion as people may watch it to escape from everyday problems and routine or this could be used for personal identity as some viewers may find themselves reflected in the text as they may be searching for a room-mate. I researched and noticed a lot of producers of still picture motioning use Haribos due to it being the easiest to manover it also is made for their target audience to enjoy.

also legos are a perfect tool for still picture motion also it fits my target audience due to it being a mature story line.
