Meetings with dance group/ Research.

PRIMARY RESEARCH
In the meeting with the the dance group they showed us their different dance choreography and they had to decide how they would like for the camera to be set up whilst they dance, also we all had a focus group choosing were they would like for their location to be shot we had to tell them that the location can be anywhere as long as you give us a bit of notice unless we cant get the place because we would need to contact their areas assistant to allow us to shoot there.
The group were all inspired from the movie high school musical so we had to watch certain clips from the movie to understand how they wanted their music video. They picked certain areas that are similar to the places in the movie, and the media group choose use certain camera shots to give it the high school feel such as medium shoots and close ups.
We mad sure that we made the dancers wear the same clothes to show continuity because if they changed clothes it would be very messy and the black in the back ground is to show the heartbreak thats sung about in the song and red is to show the love and of course the white connotes peace.
SECONDARY RESEARCH:
Seeing the group perform i thought of camp rock a disney movie that to me had the same feeling as the demon dog song.
we also made sure we made one of the dancers play a guitar showing the comparison of the movie camp rock feeling.
Camp Rock is a 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie starring the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. The music is written by Julie Brown, Paul Brown, Regina Hicks and Karen Gist. The film is directed by Matthew Diamond and produced by Alan Sacks
